A 6-Day City Experience in South Korea in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Seoul
    30 minutes (16.2 km) from Incheon International Airport

    Start your day at the Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest and most iconic palace in Seoul. In the afternoon, head to Namsan Tower to witness panoramic views of the city. At night, visit the Myeong-dong district, famous for shopping and street food.

  2. Day 2: Busan
    2 hours 40 minutes (325 km) from Seoul

    In the morning, visit the Busan Tower, an iconic landmark in the city. Take a stroll along the Haeundae Beach in the afternoon and enjoy the beautiful coastline. In the evening, enjoy the night views at the Gwangalli Beach.

  3. Day 3: Jeju Island
    1 hour 5 minutes (446 km) from Busan

    Explore the natural beauty of Jeju Island by visiting the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak early in the morning. Afternoon, head to Manjanggul Cave, one of the longest lava tubes in the world. End the day with a visit to the Jeju Loveland, an adult theme park with an erotic twist.

  4. Day 4: Gyeongju

    In the morning, visit the Bulguksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, head to Anapji Pond, a beautiful artificial pond with stunning views. In the evening, stroll around the Gyeongju Historic Area and enjoy the traditional Korean architecture and culture.

  5. Day 5: Suwon
    2 hours (145 km) from Gyeongju

    In the morning, visit the Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, head to the Suwon Hwaseong Museum to learn more about the fortress. In the evening, visit the Suwoncheon Stream and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

  6. Day 6: Incheon
    1 hour 10 minutes (58 km) from Suwon

    Start your day by visiting the Incheon Bridge Observatory and enjoy the view of the bridge and the sea. In the afternoon, head to the Incheon Chinatown, one of the largest Chinatowns in South Korea. End your trip with a visit to the Incheon International Airport before taking off.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting the DMZ and JSA, the Demilitarized Zone and Joint Security Area between North and South Korea. You can also take a side trip to the Jeonju Hanok Village, a traditional Korean village with over 800 traditional houses. To maximize your fun, consider trying Korean BBQ and street food, and visit a Korean sauna or jjimjilbang for a unique experience.
