  1. Day 1: Explore Pandava Caves
5 minutes (1.2 km) from Pachmarhi Bus Stand

Start your day by exploring the ancient Pandava Caves. These five rock-cut caves date back to the 1st century BC and are believed to have been carved out by the Pandavas during their exile. Spend the morning exploring and admiring the intricate carvings and sculptures that depict scenes from the Mahabharata. After a quick lunch, head to the nearby Bee Falls, one of Pachmarhi's most popular waterfalls. Take a dip in the refreshing waters and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding forests. In the evening, visit the Sunset Point to view the spectacular sunset over the Satpura Range.

  2. Day 2: Visit Jata Shankar Caves and Reechgarh
15 minutes (5.7 km) from Pandava Caves

Start your day by visiting the Jata Shankar Caves, a natural cave formed by stalactite and stalagmite formations. This cave is named after Lord Shiva, whose matted locks are believed to have emerged from the rocks in this cave. After exploring the cave, head to Reechgarh, a fascinating natural rock shelter that resembles a cave. This shelter is home to several ancient rock paintings that depict scenes from the lives of early humans. In the evening, explore the local markets and indulge in some shopping or try out some local street food.

  3. Day 3: Trek to Dhupgarh and Priyadarshini Point
30 minutes (11.8 km) from Jata Shankar Caves

Start your day by trekking to Dhupgarh, the highest point in the Satpura Range. The trek is moderate and takes about 2-3 hours, but the stunning views from the top are worth the effort. After returning from the trek, head to Priyadarshini Point to view the scenic beauty of Pachmarhi from a different perspective. This point offers panoramic views of Pachmarhi and the surrounding hills. In the evening, head back to town to relax and unwind before your trip back home.
