From Mumbai to Kedarnath - 3-Day Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Mumbai to Nashik
    3 hours 30 minutes (167 km) from Mumbai

    Start your journey early morning and head to Nashik, known as the wine capital of India. Visit the Sula Vineyards and indulge in wine tasting sessions in the morning. Afternoon, visit the Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India and take a dip in the holy pond. In the evening, stroll around the Gangapur Dam and enjoy the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Nashik to Shirdi
    2 hours 45 minutes (88 km) from Nashik

    Early morning, visit the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Temple in Shirdi and attend the Kakad Aarti, a morning ritual of worship. After breakfast, visit the Dixit Wada Museum and Gurusthan. In the afternoon, head to the Wet n Joy Water Park and enjoy the thrilling rides. In the evening, visit the Dwarkamai Masjid and attend the Dhoop Aarti.

  3. Day 3: Shirdi to Kedarnath
    14 hours 30 minutes (680 km) from Shirdi

    Start your journey early morning and head to Kedarnath. Reach the Gaurikund base camp and start your trek to Kedarnath. On the way, visit the Gandhi Sarovar and Bhairavnath Temple. Reach Kedarnath by evening and visit the Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. In the evening, attend the famous Kedarnath Aarti.

Recommendations

If you have an extra day, you can visit the Triambakeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary in Nashik or the Ellora and Ajanta Caves near Aurangabad. To maximize your fun, try the local cuisine and street food in each location. Don't miss the Misal Pav in Nashik and the Ladoo in Shirdi. Make sure to carry raincoats and warm clothes as the weather can be unpredictable in July.
