Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting the town of Canmore, located just outside of Banff National Park. It has a charming downtown area with many local shops and restaurants. For a side trip, consider visiting the town of Golden, located in British Columbia, for a heli-skiing adventure. To maximize your fun, try snowmobiling or dog sledding in Banff National Park. Finally, do not forget to bring warm clothes and dress in layers as the temperatures can drop significantly in the mountains during December.
