Mahableshwar Adventure 2-Day Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Tapola Lake
    1 hour 20 minutes (28.1 miles) from Mahableshwar

    Start your day early in the morning and head to Tapola Lake, also known as the mini Kashmir of the west. Enjoy a scenic drive and experience the thrill of a speedboat ride on the lake. After the ride, you can explore the surrounding forest on foot or take a horse ride to explore the area. In the afternoon, have lunch at one of the local restaurants and then head to Venna Lake for some kayaking and boating. End the day with a relaxing evening stroll around the lake.

  2. Day 2: Pratapgad Fort
    1 hour 15 minutes (22.4 miles) from Mahableshwar

    Embark on a thrilling adventure to Pratapgad Fort, located atop a hill. The fort offers a panoramic view of the Sahyadri range and is famous for its historical significance. Spend the morning exploring the fort and learning about its history. Take a break for lunch at the fort or head to a nearby restaurant before heading to Lingmala Waterfall for an afternoon of trekking and rappelling. End the day with a visit to the Mapro Garden to taste some of the delicious jams and syrups made from locally grown fruits.

Mahableshwar is a paradise for adventure lovers, with many trekking and hiking opportunities. You can also visit the famous Panchgani Table Land, which is about 40 minutes from Mahableshwar. If you have extra time, you can also plan a trip to the beautiful Kaas Plateau, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its stunning wildflowers. To maximize your adventure, it is best to plan your trip during the monsoon season from June to September, when the waterfalls are in full flow and the landscapes are lush and green.
