Recommendations

Chikmagalur is known for its coffee plantations, so be sure to visit one and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee. You can also go on a coffee plantation tour to learn about the history and cultivation of coffee in the region. If you have time, consider a side trip to the nearby hill stations of Coorg or Ooty. To maximize your fun, pack comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent, and keep a raincoat handy as it may rain in July.
