7-Day Uttarakhand Honeymoon Itinerary in November 2024

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun
    2 hours (33 miles) from Jolly Grant Airport

    Upon arrival, take a private transfer to your hotel in Dehradun. Spend the morning exploring Robber's Cave, a natural cave formation surrounded by hills and located 8km from the city.   2. Day 2: Mussoorie

  3. Day 3: Rishikesh

    Drive to Rishikesh, the "Yoga Capital of the World" and start the day by visiting the iconic Lakshman Jhula, a suspension bridge over the river Ganges. Take a dip in the holy river and then take a short hike to the Neer Garh waterfall. In the afternoon, visit the Beatles Ashram, also known as the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, which is now a popular street art destination and offers a glimpse into the lives of the Beatles during their stay in Rishikesh.   4. Day 4: Auli
    8 hours (288 miles) from Rishikesh

    Drive to Auli, a beautiful ski resort situated at an altitude of 8000ft. Spend the day enjoying the breathtaking views of the Himalayas and take a cable car ride to the Auli Artificial lake. In the evening, cozy up to your partner and enjoy a bonfire under the starry sky.

  5. Day 5: Joshimath
    1 hour (8 miles) from Auli

    Start the day by visiting the Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and considered to be one of the most important temples in the region. Take a stroll through the quaint town and visit the Kalpavriksha, a 1200-year-old tree. In the afternoon, visit the Chenab Lake, a hidden gem located 20km from Joshimath. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the lake before heading back to your hotel in Auli.

  6. Day 6: Jim Corbett National Park
    7 hours (290 miles) from Auli

    Drive to Jim Corbett National Park, the oldest national park in India and home to the Bengal tiger. Take a morning safari and try to spot some of the park's inhabitants, including leopards, elephants, and crocodiles. In the afternoon, visit the Corbett Waterfall and enjoy a peaceful picnic by the river. Spend the evening stargazing and listening to the sounds of the jungle.

  7. Day 7: Departure from Ramnagar
    1 hour (35 miles) from Jim Corbett National Park

    Drive to Ramnagar and visit the Garjiya Devi Temple, a famous temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Enjoy a delicious breakfast before taking a private transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
