Two Days in Chikamangluru Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Mullayanagiri Peak

    In the morning, we will head to Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest peak in Karnataka. The peak offers stunning views of the lush greenery and serene landscapes of Chikamangluru. Afternoon is the perfect time for a visit to the Seethalayanagiri Temple, which is just a 20-minute drive from the peak. The temple is situated on a hilltop, providing an exquisite view of the town below. In the evening, we will head to the beautiful Hebbe Falls, located 2 hours (52.8 km) from the temple. After a day filled with adventure and sightseeing, retire to your hotel for a restful night's sleep.

  2. Day 2: Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 30 minutes (79 km) from Chikamangluru

    In the morning, we will head to the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, a natural habitat for various species of flora and fauna. Here, you can explore the lush green forests, spot wild animals in their natural habitat, and enjoy a peaceful boat ride in the Bhadra Reservoir. Afternoon is the perfect time to visit the Kudremukh National Park, located 1 hour 50 minutes (64.2 km) from the sanctuary. The park is home to several species of animals and has beautiful waterfalls and trekking trails. In the evening, we will visit the Baba Budangiri Shrine, which is a 30-minute drive from the park. This shrine is famous for its unique blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. End your day with a delicious dinner and a good night's rest.
