4-Day Itinerary for Goa

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    25 minutes (9.6 miles) from Goa Airport

    Fort Aguada is a well-preserved 17th-century Portuguese fort that offers a stunning view of the Arabian Sea. In the morning, visit the Fort and explore the lighthouse. In the afternoon, relax on the nearby Candolim Beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset. In the evening, head to the nearby Tito's Lane for some excellent dining and entertainment options.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 30 minutes (47.2 miles) from Fort Aguada

    Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River. In the morning, take a jeep safari to the falls and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way. In the afternoon, take a dip in the refreshing pool below the falls and enjoy a picnic lunch. In the evening, head back to your hotel and relax.

  3. Day 3: Old Goa
    40 minutes (12.1 miles) from Dudhsagar Falls

    Old Goa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to some of the most significant Portuguese-era buildings. In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier. In the afternoon, visit the Se Cathedral, the largest church in Asia, and take a stroll through the nearby Fontainhas neighbourhood, known for its colourful houses and quaint streets. In the evening, enjoy some local Goan cuisine at a nearby restaurant.

  4. Day 4: Anjuna Flea Market
    40 minutes (11.4 miles) from Old Goa

    The Anjuna Flea Market is a popular shopping destination and a great place to get souvenirs and local handicrafts. In the morning, visit the market and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. In the afternoon head to Vagator Beach, which is nearby, and relax on the beach. In the evening, head back to your hotel and plan your next adventure in Goa.

Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting the Reis Magos Fort, which is just 15 minutes from Fort Aguada. You can also take a day trip to the beautiful Palolem Beach, which is about 2 hours from Old Goa. To maximize your fun, try some local water sports such as jet skiing, parasailing or scuba diving.
