3-Day Family Friendly Rajasthan Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Jaipur
    20 minutes (7.4 km) from Jaipur International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds, for its beautiful architecture and history. Afterward, head to the City Palace to explore the palace and the museum. In the afternoon, visit Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO world heritage site, consisting of nineteen astronomical instruments. In the evening, visit the famous Amber Fort and enjoy the Sound and Light Show that brings the fort's history to life.

  2. Day 2: Udaipur
    1 hour 30 minutes (394 km) from Jaipur

    In the morning, visit the City Palace, which is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and is located on the banks of Lake Pichola. Later, visit the Lake Pichola and take a boat ride to enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake. In the afternoon, visit the Jagdish Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located close to the City Palace. In the evening, visit the Saheliyon-ki-Bari, which is a beautiful garden with fountains, kiosks, marble elephants and pools.

  3. Day 3: Jodhpur
    4 hours 30 minutes (342 km) from Udaipur

    In the morning, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the largest forts in India and has a museum with a rich collection of artifacts. In the afternoon, visit the Jaswant Thada, which is a white marble mausoleum built-in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. In the evening, visit the Ghanta Ghar, which is also known as the clock tower of Rajasthan and is a popular landmark in Jodhpur.

Make sure to try the local cuisine and street food. You can also consider visiting the Ranthambore National Park, which is famous for its tiger population. To maximize your fun, you can plan a hot air balloon ride in Jaipur or Udaipur. If you have time, you can also plan a visit to the Pushkar Lake, which is a sacred lake surrounded by numerous ghats and temples.
