Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Kudremukh National Park, a beautiful mountain range with several trekking trails. You could also visit the coffee plantations and learn about the coffee-making process. If you're traveling with kids, the Amruthapura Temple is a great place to visit.

For a side trip, consider going to the nearby town of Belur, which is famous for its Hoysala architecture.

Make sure to carry enough water, snacks, and insect repellent, as most of the places are located in remote areas.
