2-Day Chikmagalur Itinerary for July 2023

  1. Day 1: Mullayanagiri Peak

    Evening: End your day with a visit to the Jhari Waterfalls. The waterfalls are located amidst lush green forests and offer a peaceful environment. The waterfalls are particularly charming during the monsoon season.

  2. Day 2: Coffee Museum and Hebbe Falls
    1 hour 45 minutes (42.5 miles) from Mullayanagiri Peak

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Coffee Museum. Learn about the history of coffee in India and the various coffee-growing regions in the country. Sample some of the finest coffee and purchase some to take back home.

    Afternoon: Head to Hebbe Falls, located in the Kemmanagundi hill station. The falls are surrounded by dense forests and offer a picturesque view. The falls are also known for their healing properties.

    Evening: End your day with a drive to the Kemmanagundi hill station. Trek up to Z Point, a popular vantage point that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills.

If you have an extra day, consider visiting the Kudremukh National Park. The park is home to a variety of flora and fauna and offers several trekking trails. You can also visit the Belur and Halebidu temples, known for their stunning architecture.
