Kedarnath Trek Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Arrival at Dehradun

  2. Day 2: Dehradun to Sonprayag

    Start early and drive to Sonprayag, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. En route, visit the holy towns of Rishikesh and Devprayag. Overnight stay at a hotel in Sonprayag.

  3. Day 3: Sonprayag to Kedarnath
    10 hours (18.6 miles)

    Start the trek to Kedarnath early in the morning. The trek is challenging but rewarding, with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Visit the Kedarnath Temple and explore the town. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

  4. Day 4: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
    7 hours (11.7 miles)

    Start the trek back to Sonprayag and drive to Guptkashi. Visit the Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

  5. Day 5: Guptkashi to Chopta

    Drive to Chopta, the starting point of the Tungnath trek. Explore the town and enjoy the scenic beauty of Chopta. Overnight stay in Chopta.

  6. Day 6: Chopta to Tungnath and Chandrashila

    Start the trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. Continue the trek to the summit of Chandrashila for panoramic views of the Himalayas. Overnight stay in Chopta.

  7. Day 7: Departure from Dehradun

    Drive back to Dehradun, stopping at Devprayag for a quick visit. Departure from Jolly Grant Airport.
