2-Day Adventurous Itinerary for Valley of Flowers, Uttarakhand in June 2023

1. Day 1: Explore Valley of Flowers National Park
   Valley of Flowers National Park, Uttarakhand
   Start your day early and reach the park entrance by 7:00 am. It is a 3.2 km hike from the entrance to the valley. Enjoy the beautiful views of the vast meadows, dense forests, and waterfalls on the way. Spend the morning exploring the park, spotting rare Himalayan flora, and taking in the scenery. Have a packed lunch and relax in the valley. Explore Hemkund Sahib in the afternoon, which is a 6 km trek from the valley. The trek is steep in some parts, and you need to climb around 1000 feet. Reach back to Ghangaria by 5:00 pm, have dinner, and call it a day.
2. Day 2: Trek to the Stunning KagBhusandi Lake
   KagBhusandi Lake, Uttarakhand
   Start your day early and embark on the 12 km trek to KagBhusandi Lake. The trail passes through thick forests, followed by a steep climb to the lake. You will be rewarded with stunning views of the crystal clear lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Have a packed lunch and spend some time around the lake before heading back. You will reach back to Ghangaria by 5:00 pm. Have dinner and explore the local market before calling it a day.

Recommendations

If you have an extra day, you can visit the Badrinath Temple, which is around 25 km from Ghangaria. You can also try the local cuisine like Aloo ke Gutke and Kachmauli at the local eateries. Make sure you carry enough cash as there are no ATMs available in Ghangaria.
