A 4-Day itinerary for Ahmedabad in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Sabarmati Ashram

In the evening, take a stroll through the Sabarmati Riverfront, which has been beautifully developed into a promenade and offers scenic views of the river.

  2. Day 2: Adalaj Stepwell and Akshardham Temple
    1 hour 30 minutes (20 km) from Sabarmati Ashram

    In the morning, visit the beautiful Adalaj Stepwell, a five-story stepwell that was built in 1499. Afternoon, visit the stunning Akshardham Temple, a Hindu temple complex that is known for its intricate architecture and beautiful gardens. In the evening, visit the Kankaria Lake, a popular spot among locals for various fun activities.

  3. Day 3: Jama Masjid and Swaminarayan Temple
    30 minutes (8.4 km) from Akshardham Temple

    Begin your day with Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India and a beautiful example of Islamic architecture. Afternoon, visit the Swaminarayan Temple, a Hindu temple with a stunning architectural design and beautiful gardens.   4. Day 4: Sarkhej Roza and Sabarmati Riverfront Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (27 km) from Swaminarayan Temple

    In the morning, visit the Sarkhej Roza, a mosque and tomb complex that is an excellent example of Islamic architecture. Afternoon, visit the Sabarmati Riverfront Park, a beautiful park that offers a variety of activities such as cycling, jogging, and boating. In the evening, visit the Manek Chowk, a vibrant market that is famous for its street food.

If you have more time, then consider visiting the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, the Auto World Vintage Car Museum, or the Gujarat Science City.
