3-Day Adventure Itinerary for Kuduremukha in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kuduremukha National Park
    1 hour 15 minutes (48.9 km) from Mangalore International Airport

    Begin your adventure by exploring Kuduremukha National Park, famous for its breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife.   2. Day 2: Hanuman Gundi Falls and Kalasa

    Start your day with a visit to the Hanuman Gundi Falls, located in the heart of the Western Ghats. The magnificent waterfall, falling from a height of 100 feet, offers an ideal setting for a refreshing swim. Afternoon, head to Kalasa, a quaint hill-town famous for its ancient temples and tea plantations. Visit the Kalaseshwara Temple and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding hills. In the evening, return to your hotel and relax.

  3. Day 3: Kudremukh Peak and Horse Riding
    1 hour (34.5 km) from Kalasa

    On your last day, hike to the top of the Kuduremukha Peak, the third highest peak in Karnataka. The trek is quite challenging but offers a spectacular view of the surrounding hills and valleys. After lunch, indulge in a fun-filled horse riding session in the foothills. You can also visit the nearby town of Mudigere and buy some locally made handicrafts and souvenirs. End the day with a relaxing drive back to Mangalore International Airport.

If you have more time, you can consider visiting the nearby towns of Chikmagalur and Udupi, known for their serene beaches, ancient temples and coffee plantations.
