Family Friendly Itinerary for Genting Highlands, Langkawi, and Kuala Lumpur in July 2023

1. Day 1: Genting Highlands
   1 hour 30 minutes (34 miles) from Kuala Lumpur
   Morning:

   Head to the Genting Skyway Station and take the cable car to get a bird's eye view of the highlands. Once at the top, experience the thrill of outdoor and indoor theme parks, including the Skytropolis Funland and the SnowWorld.

   Afternoon:

2. Day 2: Langkawi
   1 hour 30 minutes (24 miles) from Kuala Lumpur
   Morning:

   Explore the Langkawi Sky Bridge, a 125-metre-long curved pedestrian bridge suspended 700 meters above sea level. Take in the panoramic views of the forest canopy and the Andaman Sea.

   Afternoon:

   Visit the Underwater World Langkawi, a marine-themed park with an underwater tunnel and exhibits of over 500 species of marine life. Get up close with sharks, rays, and sea turtles.

   Evening:

   Watch the beautiful sunset at Pantai Cenang Beach and enjoy dinner at one of the beachfront restaurants. End the day with a relaxing stroll along the beach.

3. Day 3: Kuala Lumpur
   1 hour (20 miles) from Genting Highlands
   Morning:

   Visit the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest twin buildings in the world. Take a guided tour of the tower and learn about its architecture and history.

   Afternoon:

   Explore the Batu Caves, a limestone hill with a series of caves and cave temples. Climb the 272 steps to reach the main cave, and see the giant golden statue of Lord Murugan.

   Evening:

   Visit the bustling Chinatown and Petaling Street, a shopper's paradise with stalls selling everything from souvenirs to street food. Grab some dinner from the street food vendors and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

4. Day 4: Kuala Lumpur
   12 minutes (2.3 miles) from Petronas Twin Towers
   Morning:

   Visit the National Museum, which displays Malaysia's rich cultural heritage and history. Learn about the different ethnic groups, religions and customs of Malaysia.

   Afternoon:

   Take a stroll in the beautiful Perdana Botanical Garden, a 93-hectare garden in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Visit the Orchid Garden, the Hibiscus Garden and the Deer Park.

   Evening:

   Experience the nightlife at Jalan Alor, a food street with a wide range of local and international cuisine. Try some of the best street food in Kuala Lumpur and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

Consider visiting the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, the Aquaria KLCC, or the Langkawi Wildlife Park and Bird Paradise. For a side trip, visit the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park or the Cameron Highlands.
