  1. Day 1: Taj Mahal

    Begin your day early with a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Marvel at the stunning white marble structure that took over 20 years to build. After your visit, head to the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which served as the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty. In the evening, take a stroll through the Mehtab Bagh gardens to enjoy stunning views of the Taj Mahal at sunset.

  2. Day 2: Vaishno Devi
    4 hours 33 minutes (99.2 miles) from Agra

    Today, visit the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India. Located in the Trikuta Mountains, the shrine is dedicated to the Hindu goddess, Maa Vaishno Devi. The trek to the shrine is approximately 13 km and takes around 5-6 hours. Alternatively, you can take a helicopter ride to the shrine. Spend the evening exploring the local markets and trying out some delicious street food.

Recommendations

Consider visiting the Akshardham Temple in Delhi or the Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site, on your way to Agra. You can also take a detour to visit the Ranthambore National Park, known for its Bengal tigers.
