Surat to Kedarnath 4-Day Family Friendly Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Surat to Haridwar
    8 hours (265 miles)

    Start your journey early in the morning to Haridwar. Upon arrival, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the Ganga Aarti, one of the most spiritual and enchanting events in India. You can also take a dip in the holy river Ganges and experience the divine environment around the ghats. Later, visit Mansa Devi Temple by cable car ride, which offers a breathtaking view of the city of Haridwar and the Ganges river. In the evening, explore the local markets and do some shopping to prepare for the journey ahead.

  2. Day 2: Haridwar to Guptkashi
    7 hours (130 miles)

    Start early in the morning to Guptkashi. Visit the ancient Triyuginarayan Temple, where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married. Enjoy a scenic drive to Guptkashi through the beautiful and serene hills of Uttarakhand. In the evening, visit the famous Vishwanath Temple and Ardhanarishwar Temple in Guptkashi.

  3. Day 3: Guptkashi to Kedarnath
    4 hours (17 miles)

    Start your day early and head to Sonprayag. From there, you have to trek 16 km to reach Kedarnath Temple. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and is one of the most revered shrines in the Hindu religion. Witness the morning pooja and the stunning view of the Himalayas. After darshan, trek back to Sonprayag, and drive back to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.

  4. Day 4: Guptkashi to Surat
    15 hours (600 miles)

    Start your journey early in the morning to Surat. The long journey is perfect for relaxation and reflection on the serene journey you've experienced. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Uttarakhand and capture some memories. You will arrive in Surat late at night, and we hope you had an unforgettable journey.
