4-Day Goa Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Calangute Beach
    50 minutes (14.8 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, head to Calangute Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. Enjoy the sun, sand and sea while sipping on some refreshing coconut water. In the afternoon, grab some lunch at Souza Lobo, a legendary Goan restaurant serving traditional Goan food. In the evening, head to Club Cubana, one of the best nightclubs in Goa.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 30 minutes (37.3 miles) from Calangute Beach

    In the morning, head to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India. Take a dip in the cool waters and relax amidst the lush greenery. In the afternoon, grab some delicious street food at the nearby Tambdi Surla village. In the evening, visit the Mahadev Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

  3. Day 3: Old Goa
    1 hour (16.7 miles) from Dudhsagar Falls

    In the morning, visit Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning architecture and rich history. Visit the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia, and the Basilica of Bom Jesus, known for housing the remains of St. Francis Xavier. In the afternoon, head to Panaji, the capital of Goa, for some delicious seafood at Ritz Classic. In the evening, take a stroll along the Mandovi River and catch a sunset cruise.

  4. Day 4: Anjuna Flea Market
    30 minutes (8.8 miles) from Old Goa

    In the morning, head to the Anjuna Flea Market, a vibrant market selling everything from clothes to jewellery to souvenirs. Bargain hard and pick up some unique items to take back home. In the afternoon, head to Baga Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa, for some water sports. In the evening, visit Britto's, a popular beach shack serving delicious food and cocktails.

Recommendations

Make sure to attend a traditional Goan dance performance and visit the churches of Divar Island. A day trip to the beautiful Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary is also recommended. If you have time, take a ferry ride to the peaceful Chorao Island. To maximize your fun, rent a bike or scooter and explore Goa at your own pace. Don't forget to try the local drink, feni, made from cashew apples or coconuts.
