Motorcycle Riding Itinerary for Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Kedarnath in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Haridwar
    10 minutes (4.2 km) from Har ki Pauri Ghat

    In the morning, visit Har ki Pauri Ghat, one of the most sacred ghats in Haridwar. In the afternoon, ride to Mansa Devi Temple, a hilltop temple dedicated to Goddess Mansa. In the evening, attend the spectacular Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Ganges River.

  3. Day 3: Kedarnath
    8 hours (240 km) from Rishikesh

    Today will be a long ride to Kedarnath, a holy town located in the lap of the Himalayas. Stop at various scenic spots like Devprayag and Rudraprayag on the way. Reach Kedarnath by evening and relax for the night.

  4. Day 4: Kedarnath

  6. Day 6: Rishikesh

    Start the day with a yoga or meditation session at one of the many yoga centers in Rishikesh. In the afternoon, ride to Rajaji National Park for a thrilling jungle safari. In the evening, visit the Trimbakeshwar Temple for its picturesque sunset view.

  7. Day 7: Haridwar
    40 minutes (26.7 km) from Rishikesh

    End the trip with a bang by going rafting in the morning on the Ganges River. In the afternoon, ride to Chandi Devi Temple, a hilltop temple dedicated to Goddess Chandi. In the evening, shop for souvenirs at the famous Haridwar Market before catching your flight back home.

Recommendations

Consider taking a side trip to Auli for its breathtaking views of the Himalayas. If you have time, visit the ancient city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Alternatively, you could spend an extra day in Rishikesh to experience its vibrant nightlife.
