Three-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Beach Day!
    30 minutes (12.5 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Morning: Spend the morning at Baga Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. Relax on the beach and take a dip in the Arabian Sea.

    Afternoon: Head to Anjuna Flea Market where you can shop for souvenirs, jewelry, and clothes while enjoying street food.

    Evening: End the day at Calangute Beach, also known as the "Queen of Beaches". Enjoy dinner at one of the many beachside restaurants.

  2. Day 2: Historic and Cultural Sites
    25 minutes (10.6 miles) from Calangute Beach

    Morning: Start the day at the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa.

    Afternoon: Visit the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia, and the beautiful Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.

    Evening: End the day at the vibrant and colorful Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Panaji, for a walking tour.

  3. Day 3: Adventure and Nature
    1 hour and 30 minutes (45.5 miles) from Fontainhas

    Morning: Start the day with a hike in the lush greenery of Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India.

    Afternoon: Head to Spice Plantation for a tour and to learn about the spices grown in the region, followed by a traditional Goan lunch.

    Evening: Take a crocodile-sighting tour at the Cumbarjua Canal, home to one of the largest populations of crocodiles in Goa.

Recommendations

Don't miss out on a sunset cruise along the Mandovi River. Other popular beaches to visit include Vagator Beach, Colva Beach, and Palolem Beach. Take a day trip to the nearby state of Karnataka to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hampi.
