4-Day Motorcycle Riding Itinerary: Mysore, Himavad Gopal Swamy Betta, Ooty

  1. Day 1: Mysore
    Starting location: Bangalore (3 hours 30 minutes, 150 km)

    In the morning, visit the magnificent Mysore Palace, which is a perfect example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. Afterward, ride to the nearby Chamundeshwari Temple and enjoy the panoramic view of the city from atop the Chamundi Hills.   2. Day 2: Himavad Gopal Swamy Betta
    From Mysore to Himavad Gopal Swamy Betta - 3 hours 30 minutes (120 km)

    Start your day early to ride to Himavad Gopal Swamy Betta. After reaching the location, take a hike to the temple located at the hilltop of the Betta. Here, you can witness the panoramic view of the Bandipur National Park and the surrounding valleys. Take a quick lunch break and ride to the Kaveri Fishing Camp where you can try fishing or take a dip in the crystal clear water of the Kaveri river. In the evening, visit the BRT Wildlife Sanctuary for a safari experience where you can spot elephants, tigers, leopards and other wildlife.

  3. Day 3: Ooty
    From Himavad Gopal Swamy Betta to Ooty - 4 hours (190 km)

    Start your day early to head to Ooty, also known as the "Queen of Hill Stations". In the morning, ride to the Doddabetta Peak, which is the highest peak in Nilgiri Hills and take in the stunning view of the surrounding tea plantations. Afterward, ride to the Ooty Lake and enjoy a boat ride. Have lunch at the famous Cafe Diem and then head to the Tea Museum to explore the history of tea production in Ooty. In the evening, visit the Botanical Gardens and witness the colorful flower beds.

  4. Day 4: Coonoor
    From Ooty to Coonoor - 1 hour (20 km)

    For the last day of your trip, ride to Coonoor, a quaint town famous for its tea plantations. Start your day by visiting the Dolphin's Nose, a viewpoint that offers a stunning panoramic view of the Nilgiri Hills. Afterward, visit the famous Sims Park and explore the beautiful gardens.
