To get around Medellín and surrounding areas, there are taxis, buses, and ride-sharing apps available. It's also possible to rent a car, but keep in mind the narrow and winding roads in some areas. The estimated total cost of transportation for this itinerary is around $250.
If you have more time, consider visiting the historic center of Medellín or taking a coffee farm tour at a nearby plantation. Medellín's main airport is Jose Maria Cordova International Airport (MDE), located in Rionegro, about 24 miles east of Medellín. Another option is Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH) which is in the city itself, but only operates domestic flights.
