Cambodia Bachelor Party: 7-Day Itinerary in December 2023

  1. Day 1: Phnom Penh
    10 minutes (3.5 km) from Phnom Penh International Airport

    Start the day by visiting the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, followed by a traditional Khmer lunch at Romdeng. Spend the afternoon exploring Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Fields. In the evening, head to Bassac Lane for dinner and drinks.

  2. Day 2: Koh Rong Island
    4 hours and 30 minutes (271 km) from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville Port, then a 45-minute ferry ride to Koh Rong Island

    Take an early morning bus to Sihanoukville and then catch a ferry to Koh Rong Island. Spend the day on Long Beach, chilling at the Nest Beach Club and enjoying a seafood barbecue. Head to Police Beach for a beach party in the evening.

  3. Day 3: Koh Rong Samloem Island
    3 hours (33 km) by boat from Koh Rong Island

    Take a boat to Koh Rong Samloem Island. Spend the day on Lazy Beach, sunbathing and swimming. Enjoy sunset cocktails at The One Resort, followed by dinner at The Beach Restaurant and a moonlit swim.

  4. Day 4: Battambang
    4 hours and 30 minutes (264 km) from Koh Rong Samloem Island to Battambang

    Travel to Battambang by bus. Visit the Bamboo Train and the Killing Cave of Phnom Sampeau. Enjoy a dinner of Khmer barbecue at Nary Kitchen.

  5. Day 5: Siem Reap
    3 hours and 30 minutes (170 km) from Battambang to Siem Reap

    Travel to Siem Reap by bus. Explore the temples of Angkor Wat, followed by lunch at the Khmer Root Cafe. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance at the Koulen Restaurant, followed by drinks at Pub Street.

  6. Day 6: Siem Reap
    10 minutes (3 km) from Siem Reap International Airport

    Spend the morning at the Angkor National Museum. In the afternoon, visit the floating village of Kampong Phluk and enjoy a sunset boat ride. Have dinner at Cuisine Wat Damnak, one of the best restaurants in Cambodia.

  7. Day 7: Phnom Penh
    5 hours and 30 minutes (320 km) from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh

    Travel back to Phnom Penh by bus. Spend the last day shopping at the Central Market and the Russian Market for souvenirs. Have a farewell dinner at Malis Restaurant.

Recommendations

Consider attending the Cambodia Beer Festival, which usually takes place in December. For a side trip, visit Kep and Kampot for their famous pepper plantations and seafood. To maximize your fun, try ziplining in the jungle or take a hot air balloon ride over Angkor Wat. Don't forget to barter for prices at the markets!
