Honeymoon in Wayanad, Kochi, Varkala, Guruvayoor Temple, and Athirapally

  1. Day 1: Wayanad

  2. Day 2: Kochi
    7 hours 30 minutes (190 miles) from Wayanad

    Spend the morning exploring the Fort Kochi area, where you can see the Chinese Fishing Nets and the St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. In the afternoon, visit the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, and the Paradesi Synagogue, one of the oldest active synagogues. In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance performance at a local theatre.

  3. Day 3: Varkala

    Start the day with a visit to the Janardhana Swamy Temple, a 2000-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Relax on the Varkala Beach in the afternoon, where you can also enjoy water sports.   4. Day 4: Guruvayoor Temple

  5. Day 5: Athirapally
    2 hours 40 minutes (72 miles) from Guruvayoor

    Spend the morning enjoying the stunning view of the Athirappilly Falls, the largest waterfall in Kerala. Take a stroll in the Athirappilly Vazhachal Eco-Sensitive Zone, where you can spot rare species of birds and animals. In the afternoon, visit the Thumboormuzhi Dam and Butterfly Garden, where you can see different species of butterflies and enjoy a boat ride.
