3-Day Jaipur Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: City Palace
    10 minutes (2.3 km) from Jaipur Railway Station

    In the morning, visit the City Palace, where you can see the blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Admire the beautiful art pieces and antiques that belonged to the royal family. In the afternoon, head to Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. This five-story building has 953 small windows, which were designed to keep the palace cool in the summer. In the evening, visit Nahargarh Fort to catch a beautiful sunset view of the city.

  2. Day 2: Amer Fort
    30 minutes (11.2 km) from City Palace

    Start your day with a visit to Amer Fort, a stunning fort built with red sandstone and marble. Explore the intricate carvings, beautiful courtyards, and the panoramic view of the city from the fort. In the afternoon, visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh. In the evening, explore the local markets of Jaipur and shop for souvenirs, handicrafts, and traditional Rajasthani clothing.

  3. Day 3: Jal Mahal and Albert Hall Museum
    20 minutes (6.7 km) from Amer Fort

    Start your day with a visit to Jal Mahal, a beautiful palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Take a boat ride to get a closer look at the palace and enjoy the serene surroundings. In the afternoon, visit Albert Hall Museum, one of the oldest museums in Rajasthan, with a vast collection of artifacts including paintings, sculptures, and carpets. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner while watching a cultural dance performance at Chokhi Dhani.

Don't miss out on the elephant ride at Amer Fort and the Sound and Light Show at the City Palace in the evening.
