3-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach
    30 minutes (8.5 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the iconic Fort Aguada which was built in the 17th century to protect Goa from enemy attacks. Explore the fort walls, lighthouse and the beautiful view of the Arabian sea. In the afternoon, head to Sinquerim Beach which is famous for water sports like parasailing, jet-skiing and banana boat rides. Relax on the beach and enjoy the sunset in the evening.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Spice Plantation
    2 hours 30 minutes (50.8 miles) from Sinquerim Beach

    In the morning, go on a scenic drive to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls which look like a milky cascade falling from a height of 310 meters. Take a dip in the refreshing water and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. In the afternoon, visit the spice plantation to learn about the cultivation of different spices like cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon. Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch and take a bullock cart ride in the plantation. Return to your hotel in the evening.

  3. Day 3: Basilica of Bom Jesus and Anjuna Flea Market
    1 hour 20 minutes (18.9 miles) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    In the morning, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Basilica of Bom Jesus which houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, a patron saint of Goa. Admire the Baroque architecture and the beautiful paintings inside the church. In the afternoon, head to the Anjuna Flea Market which is famous for its vibrant atmosphere and a variety of goods like clothes, jewelry, handicrafts, and spices. Bargain for souvenirs and enjoy some street food. Return to your hotel in the evening.
