3-Day Chikkamangalore Nature Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Mullayanagiri Peak
    1 hour 45 minutes (40.8 miles) from Chikkamangalore

    Start your morning with a hike to the highest peak in Karnataka, Mullayanagiri. The trek is a bit challenging but the breathtaking views from the top make it worth it. Spend the afternoon exploring Baba Budangiri, a range of hills known for its coffee plantations and the beautiful shrine of Dattatreya Peetha. For dinner, head to Town Canteen, a local favorite for its delicious South Indian dishes.

  2. Day 2: Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 15 minutes (37.2 miles) from Chikkamangalore

    Start your day early and head to Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary for a safari. You'll have the chance to spot tigers, leopards, elephants, and several species of birds. After the safari, explore the beautiful Hebbe Falls and Kalhatti Falls. In the evening, relax at the scenic Hirekolale Lake and enjoy the sunset.

  3. Day 3: Kudremukh National Park

    Today, head to Kudremukh National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its biodiversity and stunning landscapes.
