3-Day Adventure Itinerary for Wayanadu in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Chembra Peak

    Start off your adventure with a trek up Chembra Peak, the highest peak in Wayanad. The trek takes about 3-4 hours and offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys.   2. Day 2: Banasura Sagar Dam

After exploring the temple, head to the nearby Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary for a trek through the forest. The trek takes about 4 hours and offers the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, tigers and leopards. After lunch, head to the nearby Kuruva Island, a group of small islands in the middle of the Kabini River. You can explore the islands on foot and enjoy a picnic in the lush green surroundings.
