Motorcycle Riding Itinerary from Bangalore to Chikmagalur in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Bangalore to Hassan
    Time and distance from Bangalore: 3 hours (130 km)

    Start your journey from Bangalore and head towards Hassan. In the morning, visit the famous Chennakesava Temple in Belur and enjoy the intricate carvings and architecture. For lunch, stop at Kamat Upachar in Channarayapatna for some delicious South Indian cuisine. After lunch, head to the Hoysaleswara Temple in Halebidu, which is famous for its unique architecture and sculptures. In the evening, check into your hotel in Hassan and relax.

  2. Day 2: Hassan to Chikmagalur
    Time and distance from Hassan: 1 hour 30 minutes (60 km)

    Head towards Chikmagalur in the morning and visit the famous Shravanabelagola Jain Temple en route. You can climb up 600 steps to see the 57-feet tall monolithic statue of Lord Gomateshwara. After lunch, visit the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary and go on a jeep safari to spot some exotic wildlife. In the evening, check into your hotel in Chikmagalur and relax.

  3. Day 3: Chikmagalur to Honnemardu

    Start early in the morning and head towards Honnemardu, a beautiful village located on the banks of the Sharavathi River. You can indulge in some adventure activities like kayaking, trekking, and camping. After lunch, visit the Jog Falls, which is the second-highest plunge waterfall in India. Enjoy the mesmerizing view and take some photos. In the evening, check into your hotel in Honnemardu and relax.
