Kerala Itinerary for July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kochi
    40 minutes (18.5 km) from Kochi International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Dutch Palace, also known as Mattancherry Palace, which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and gifted to the Raja of Kochi. The palace, with its beautiful murals and antiques, gives a glimpse into the rich history of Kochi. In the afternoon, head to Fort Kochi Beach where you can take a walk along the picturesque promenade and witness the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets in action. As the sun sets, head over to the Santa Cruz Basilica which is one of the oldest churches in India and attend the evening mass.

  2. Day 2: Munnar
    4 hours 30 minutes (130 km) from Kochi

    Begin your day with a visit to the Tea Museum, where you can learn about the history of tea in India and witness the tea-making process. After lunch, visit the Eravikulam National Park, which is known for its beautiful and endangered Nilgiri Tahr. You can also take a scenic trek to Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India.   3. Day 3: Alleppey
