Relaxing 4-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Palolem Beach
    1 hour 30 minutes (44 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Start your trip by visiting one of South Goa's most picturesque beaches, Palolem. In the morning, relax on the beach, soak up the sun and take a dip in the Arabian Sea. For lunch, you can try some seafood at one of the numerous shacks that line the beach. Spend the afternoon kayaking, paddleboarding or taking a boat trip to spot dolphins. In the evening, take a walk around the beach and enjoy the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 30 minutes (47 miles) from Palolem Beach

    Start early to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India - Dudhsagar Falls. In the morning, drive to the falls and then trek through the lush jungle to reach the base of the waterfall. Take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of the pool at the bottom of the falls. After lunch, you can go on a jeep safari to the nearby spice plantations. In the evening, head back to Palolem Beach.

  3. Day 3: Aguada Fort and Anjuna Flea Market
    1 hour 30 minutes (44 miles) from Palolem Beach

    In the morning, drive to Aguada Fort, a 17th-century Portuguese fort known for its stunning views of the Arabian Sea. After exploring the fort, head to Anjuna Flea Market, which has been a popular hippie destination since the 1960s. Browse through the stalls selling everything from jewelry to clothing to souvenirs. Have lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area that offer a variety of cuisine. In the evening, head back to Palolem Beach or explore the nightlife in North Goa.

  4. Day 4: Morjim Beach and Chapora Fort
    1 hour 30 minutes (37 miles) from Palolem Beach

    On your final day, visit Morjim Beach, known for its scenic beauty and tranquility. In the morning, relax on the beach and take a yoga class or visit one of the nearby Ayurvedic spas. For lunch, visit one of the nearby restaurants that serve a variety of cuisine. In the afternoon, drive to Chapora Fort, known for its role in the Bollywood movie "Dil Chahta Hai". Enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding landscapes. In the evening, head back to Palolem Beach.

Recommendations

If you have more time, you can also visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site or take a crocodile spotting tour on the Cumbarjua Canal. You can also consider a day trip to the nearby town of Hampi, known for its ancient temples and ruins. To maximize your fun, try some Goan cuisine such as fish curry, prawn balchao or bebinca, a traditional dessert. Don't forget to enjoy the nightlife in North Goa, which has numerous bars and clubs. Finally, make sure to catch a Goan sunset, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world.
