Nature Lover's Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 30 minutes (32.4 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Explore the lush greenery of Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, a mini-zoo and botanical garden located in the Ponda region of Goa. You can start your day early with a guided trek through the forest to spot the indigenous species and learn about the flora and fauna. After lunch, take a walk around the sanctuary and visit the various enclosures to see animals like leopards, sloth bears, and monkeys. In the evening, enjoy a musical fountain show at the park before heading back to your hotel.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours 30 minutes (48.5 miles) from Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

    Spend a day at the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls, located in the Sanguem district of Goa. Start your day with a thrilling jeep safari through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, which is also home to the falls. Once you reach the falls, spend your morning swimming in the natural pools and taking in the stunning views. After lunch, take a guided tour of the spice plantations nearby before returning to your hotel.

  3. Day 3: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
    1 hour 15 minutes (22.5 miles) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    Visit the renowned Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, located on the western tip of the Chorao Island, near Panaji. Get up early to take a boat ride through the mangroves while spotting a variety of birds, including kingfishers, eagles, and herons.   4. Day 4: Mollem National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (34.6 miles) from Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary

    Explore the wilderness of Mollem National Park, located in the Sanguem region of Goa. Start your day early and take a guided trek through the dense forest to spot the exotic species of plants and animals. After lunch, visit the famous Tambdi Surla Temple, a 12th-century Shiva temple situated amidst the lush greenery. Later, take a dip in the famous Dudhsagar waterfalls before heading back to your hotel.
