  1. Day 1: Dhanushkodi
    40 minutes (21.5 km) from Rameswaram

    In the morning, visit the Dhanushkodi temple, which is an important Hindu pilgrimage site. In the afternoon, explore the ruins of Dhanushkodi town, which was destroyed by a cyclone in 1964. Finally, enjoy the stunning sunset on the beach.

  2. Day 2: Pamban Bridge and Rameswaram
    10 minutes (7.1 km) from Dhanushkodi

    In the morning, walk on the Pamban Bridge, India's first sea bridge and one of the country's engineering marvels. Then, visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the most significant temples in South India. In the evening, take a dip in the holy waters of Agni Teertham, which is believed to have healing powers.

  3. Day 3: Krusadai Island
    1 hour 20 minutes (60 km) from Rameswaram

    Take a day trip to Krusadai Island, which is known for its marine national park and coral reefs. Go snorkeling or scuba diving to see the colorful underwater world. Don't forget to try the local seafood, which is a specialty of the island.

  4. Day 4: Holy Island and Agni Teertham
    10 minutes (6.6 km) from Rameswaram

    Visit Holy Island, which is located in the middle of the Pamban Channel. Take a boat ride to the island and explore the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Afterward, head to Agni Teertham for another dip in the holy waters. In the evening, visit Ramar Patham, which is a hill with imprints of Lord Rama's feet.

  5. Day 5: Rameswaram

    Spend your last day in Rameswaram by exploring the local markets and trying some street food. Visit the Gandhamadhana Parvatham, which is a hillock where Lord Rama's footprints can be seen. Finally, watch the evening aarti at the Ramanathaswamy Temple, which is a beautiful ceremony of lights and music.
