4-Day Itinerary for Tamhini Ghat Raigad Kalsubai in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Tamhini Ghat
    2 hours 30 minutes (68 miles) from Mumbai

    Tamhini Ghat is a mountain passage nestled in the Western Ghats. Start your day by visiting the Mulshi Dam and then drive to Tamhini Ghat. The scenic drive takes you through lush green forests, waterfalls, and mountain peaks. Stop at the Tamhini Waterfalls for a refreshing dip or take a short trek at the Tamhini Forest Reserve. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at the Panshet Dam.

  2. Day 2: Raigad Fort

    Visit the Raigad Fort, which was the capital of the Maratha Empire under the rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
