Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting Mount Tamalpais State Park for more hiking trails and stunning views. The Bay Area is also home to many wineries, such as Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley, which offer wine tastings and tours. For a side trip, consider driving down to Big Sur on the scenic Pacific Coast Highway.

To maximize your fun, bring comfortable walking shoes, a reusable water bottle, and a picnic blanket. Check the weather forecast before your trip and dress accordingly. Avoid driving during rush hour, as traffic can be unpredictable. Consider renting a car for easier transportation.

Other suggestions include: visiting the UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley, kayaking in Tomales Bay, and taking a guided tour at Muir Woods.
