Gangtok, Lachen, Lachung Nature Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Gangtok
    Start in Gangtok

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Enchey Monastery, which is a 200-year-old monastery with an impressive architecture. Then, head over to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology Museum, which has a vast collection of Tibetan artifacts and Buddhist manuscripts. Afternoon: After lunch, visit the Ganesh Tok viewpoint, which offers a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding hills. Then, explore the Flower Exhibition Centre, which has a beautiful collection of flowers and plants. Evening: End your day with a stroll around the MG Marg, which is a popular pedestrian street in Gangtok with many shops, cafes, and restaurants.

  2. Day 2: Lachen
    6 hours (68 miles) drive from Gangtok

    Morning: Start early and drive to the Seven Sisters Waterfalls, which is a group of seven waterfalls cascading down the rocks.
