A 5-Day Foodie Itinerary in Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Mapusa Market
    30 minutes (9.5 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, we will explore Mapusa Market and try some of the mouthwatering Goan delicacies like Vada Pav, Xec Xec, and Bebinca. In the afternoon, we will head to Anjuna Beach and relax while sipping on some refreshing coconut water. In the evening, we will visit Club Cubana and enjoy some live music while savoring the delectable seafood.

  2. Day 2: Martin's Corner
    1 hour 10 minutes (25 miles) from Mapusa Market

    In the morning, we will drive to Martin's Corner and try their famous Goan Prawn Curry. In the afternoon, we will visit the iconic Dudhsagar Waterfalls and take a dip in the refreshing waters. In the evening, we will head back to Martin's Corner for some more Goan food and live music.

  3. Day 3: Fisherman's Wharf
    40 minutes (13.5 miles) from Martin's Corner

    In the morning, we will visit the beautiful Fort Aguada and take in some breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, we will head to Calangute Beach and indulge in some water sports activities. In the evening, we will visit Fisherman's Wharf and try their signature dish, the Goan Fish Curry.

  4. Day 4: Vinayak Family Restaurant
    50 minutes (10 miles) from Fisherman's Wharf

    In the morning, we will visit the historic Basilica of Bom Jesus and marvel at the stunning Baroque architecture. In the afternoon, we will head to the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and watch some exotic bird species in their natural habitat. In the evening, we will visit Vinayak Family Restaurant and try their delicious Goan Thali.

  5. Day 5: Mum's Kitchen
    1 hour 5 minutes (19 miles) from Vinayak Family Restaurant

    In the morning, we will visit the serene Chapora Fort and take in some stunning panoramic views of Goa. In the afternoon, we will explore the vibrant Latin Quarter of Panjim and indulge in some street food. In the evening, we will visit Mum's Kitchen and try their signature dish, the Pork Vindaloo.

Recommendations

You may also want to consider visiting the Saturday Night Market in Arpora, taking a spice plantation tour, or going on a sunset river cruise. If you have time, you can take a side trip to the neighboring state of Karnataka and visit the stunning Jog Falls.
