Kedarnath 7-Day Itinerary - July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple

  3. Day 3: Sonprayag

    In the morning, visit Shankaracharya Samadhi, the final resting place of Adi Shankaracharya, a great Indian philosopher and theologian. Afternoon, take a stroll in Kedarnath town and do some last-minute souvenir shopping. In the evening, attend the Kedarnath Ganga Aarti for the last time.

Recommendations

You can also consider visiting the nearby towns of Guptkashi and Ukhimath. For side trips, you can go on a helicopter tour of the scenic Himalayan range or trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. Make sure to carry enough warm clothes, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Do not forget to carry a valid ID proof and medical kit.
