2-Day Honeymoon Itinerary in Lonavala in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Bushi Dam
    15 minutes (6.7 km) from Lonavala

    In the morning, head to Bushi Dam, a popular picnic spot in Lonavala. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the dam, explore the surrounding lush greenery, and take a dip in the cool waters. In the afternoon, visit the Karla Caves, a complex of Buddhist rock-cut caves that date back to the 2nd century BC. Admire the intricate carvings and sculptures in the caves. In the evening, take a romantic walk at Lonavala Lake, and witness the mesmerising sunset while enjoying delicious street food.

  2. Day 2: Rajmachi Fort
    1 hour 10 minutes (20.4 km) from Lonavala

    Spend the morning trekking to the historical Rajmachi Fort, which offers stunning panoramic views of the Sahyadri Mountains. Once you reach the top, explore the ruins of the fort and take in the beautiful scenery. In the afternoon, visit the Kune Falls, a three-tiered waterfall that cascades down from a height of 200 meters. Take a dip in the refreshing water or relax on the rocks. In the evening, head to the Celebrity Wax Museum and get clicked with your favourite celebrities.
