3-Day City Experience Itinerary in Hyderabad, August 2023

  1. Day 1: Charminar
    20 minutes (5.6 km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    Start your day at the iconic Charminar, one of the most recognized landmarks in Hyderabad. Built in 1591, this impressive structure has four minarets and is surrounded by a bustling bazaar. In the morning, explore the area around Charminar, including Laad Bazaar, famous for its bangles, and Pather Gatti, a street lined with shops selling traditional clothing. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Chowmahalla Palace, a stunning example of Nizami architecture. In the evening, head to Tank Bund, a popular spot to watch the sunset over the Hussain Sagar Lake.

  2. Day 2: Golkonda Fort

Explore the studio lots, visit the sets, and watch live shows. In the afternoon, enjoy a buffet lunch at one of the many restaurants on-site. After lunch, visit the Eureka, a replica of a London street, and Sahas, an adventure park with thrilling rides. In the evening, attend a live performance at the Bahubali set or watch a movie at the cinema multiplex.

If you have extra time, consider visiting the Salar Jung Museum, which has one of the largest collections of art and antiques in the world. Another must-see attraction is the Falaknuma Palace, a stunning heritage hotel built in the shape of a scorpion.
