Start the day early with a trek to the Honavra Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is known for the Bengal Tiger, Indian leopard, and Indian elephant sightings in their natural habitat. The morning trek will take around 3 hours and give you an idea about the types of animals present in the sanctuary. After lunch, enjoy a jeep safari to explore the other parts of the sanctuary. In the evening, unwind by the serene Honavra Lake and indulge in some bird watching. Note that the sanctuary is closed on Wednesdays.
