Four-day Itinerary for GoA in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Panaji
    15 minutes (6.3 km) from Dabolim Airport

    Begin your tour of Goa by exploring the state capital, Panaji. Start at the 16th-century Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church before walking up to the hilltop Altinho neighborhood for panoramic views. In the afternoon, visit the Goa State Museum to learn about the region's history and culture. End the day with a sunset river cruise on the Mandovi River.

  2. Day 2: Beach Hopping in North Goa
    30 minutes (15.6 km) from Panaji

    Start the day early with a visit to the famous Anjuna Flea Market and then head to Vagator Beach for a morning swim. Enjoy lunch at Calangute Beach and spend the afternoon at Baga Beach, where you can try water sports. End the day with a seafood dinner at one of the beach shacks.

  3. Day 3: Old Goa and Spice Plantation
    40 minutes (22.4 km) from Baga Beach

    In the morning, visit Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral. After lunch, head to a spice plantation to learn about the local spices and enjoy a traditional Goan meal. End the day with a visit to the Mangueshi Temple, one of the most revered Hindu temples in the state.

  4. Day 4: South Goa and Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours (70 km) from Mangueshi Temple

    Start the day by visiting the Cabo de Rama Fort, a 16th-century Portuguese fort that offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. From there, head to the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the most impressive waterfalls in India. End the day with a visit to the peaceful Palolem Beach, where you can relax and enjoy the sunset.

Recommendations

Don't miss the chance to try some of the local cuisine, including seafood, vindaloo, and bebinca. Consider taking a day trip to the nearby state of Karnataka to visit the historic city of Hampi. For nightlife, head to Tito's Lane in Baga for clubs and bars.
