In the morning, we will start our trip by visiting the Meenvallam Waterfalls. It is a beautiful waterfall located amidst lush green forests, and it will take you around 30 minutes to reach the falls from the parking area. We will spend some time enjoying the waterfall and the surrounding nature. In the afternoon, we will head to the nearby tea plantations. The tea plantations in this area are famous for their scenic beauty and the tea produced here is of excellent quality. We will take a guided tour of the tea factory and learn about the tea-making process. In the evening, we will head back to Kanthaloor and visit the Kanthaloor Apple Orchard, where we can taste some of the best apples in South India.
In the morning, we will visit the Anamudi Shola National Park. The park is situated at the top of the Western Ghats and is home to several rare species of flora and fauna. You can spot animals like the Nilgiri Tahr, Indian Bison, and many species of birds. We will take a guided trek through the park and enjoy the beautiful scenery. In the afternoon, we will head to the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to several species of animals like elephants, tigers, and leopards. We will take a jeep safari and explore the sanctuary. In the evening, we will return to Kanthaloor and visit the Kanthaloor Vegetable Farm, where you can see a variety of vegetables being grown organically.
In the morning, we will visit Vattavada, a beautiful village situated amidst the Western Ghats. The village is famous for its picturesque landscape, and you can see several vegetable gardens and tea plantations here. We will take a walk through the village and visit the Vattavada Market, where you can buy some fresh vegetables and fruits. In the afternoon, we will head to the Keezharkuthu Falls, a beautiful waterfall located amidst dense forests. You can take a bath in the natural pool formed by the waterfall. In the evening, we will return to Kanthaloor and visit the Kanthaloor Dairy Farm, where we can taste some of the best dairy products in the region.
Other local attractions that you might want to consider are the Munnar Tea Museum, the Eravikulam National Park, and the Top Station. If you have more time, you can also visit the Silent Valley National Park and the Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary. To maximize your fun, you can try trekking to some of the nearby peaks like the Meesapulimala and the Anamudi Peak. You can also take a night safari to explore the wildlife in the area. Finally, we recommend that you try the local cuisine, which includes dishes like Puttu, Appam, and Meen Curry.
