Recommendations

Aside from the main attractions, you can also consider visiting the Bali Swing, where you can swing over the jungle valley with breathtaking views. Another option is to go white water rafting on the Ayung River or spend a day exploring the beautiful beaches on the eastern side of Bali. It's also worth checking out some of the cultural dance performances that take place in Ubud. For a side trip, you can visit the nearby Gili Islands, which offer a more serene and laid-back atmosphere than Bali.

To maximize your fun, try to wake up early to avoid the crowds and the heat. Also, be sure to try the local cuisine, such as nasi goreng (fried rice), satay (grilled meat on skewers), and babi guling (roasted suckling pig). Finally, bargaining is a common practice in Bali, so be sure to negotiate prices when shopping at the markets.
