4-Day City Experiences Itinerary in Goa (August 2023)

  1. Day 1: Explore the Old Latin Quarters of Panjim

    In the morning, head to the Fontainhas, the old Latin Quarter of Panjim. Take a leisurely stroll down the winding streets, and marvel at the colorful Portuguese-style houses.   2. Day 2: Soak up the Sun at Baga Beach
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Panjim

    Start the day by hitting the beautiful and bustling Baga Beach. Try some water sports, such as jet skiing, banana boat rides, or parasailing. Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the shacks lining the beach. In the evening, head to the nearby Saturday Night Market in Arpora, which features live music, food stalls, and locally-made crafts.

  3. Day 3: Visit Old Goa and the Basilica of Bom Jesus

  4. Day 4: Discover the Forts and Palaces of South Goa
    1 hour (30 miles) from Old Goa

    Take a day trip to explore South Goa's history and architecture. Visit the Cabo de Rama Fort, a 16th-century Portuguese fort that offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Stop by the Rachol Fort and the Church of Our Lady of Snows in Margao, which is known for its grand mansions and Hindu temples. End the day at the Palacio do Deao, a restored 18th-century palace with beautiful gardens and delicious Indo-Portuguese cuisine.

Don't miss the chance to experience Goa's nightlife. Head to Tito's Lane in Baga for some of the best clubs in the area. For a quieter evening, try a sunset yoga session on the beach.
