3-Day Itinerary for Daman and Diu in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort of Moti Daman
    20 minutes (6.7 miles) from Diu Airport

    In the morning, visit the Fort of Moti Daman. Built in the 16th century, it houses several important government offices, the Church of Our Lady of the Sea, and a lighthouse. In the afternoon, explore the nearby Nani Daman Fort, built in the 17th century. In the evening, take a stroll on the Jampore Beach, one of the most serene and beautiful beaches in Daman and Diu.

  2. Day 2: Diu Fort and St. Paul's Church
    30 minutes (14.5 miles) from Fort of Moti Daman

    Begin the day at Diu Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk along the fort walls to enjoy the stunning views of the sea and visit the old cannons and a 17th-century chapel. After lunch, head to St. Paul's Church, built in the 16th century in Gothic style. Later, watch the sunset at Nagoa Beach, a gorgeous crescent-shaped beach with clear blue waters.

  3. Day 3: Ghoghla Beach and Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple
    30 minutes (12.5 miles) from Diu Fort

    Begin the day by exploring Ghoghla Beach, the largest and most popular beach in Diu. Enjoy the water sports or just relax on the sandy beach. After lunch, head to Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, situated in the middle of rocks and facing the sea. It is believed that the five Pandavas of Mahabharata visited this site during their exile. In the evening, take a leisurely walk at Chakratirth Beach and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
