A Three-Day Itinerary for Arambol in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Arambol Beach

    Morning: Start your trip at Arambol Beach, a beautiful beach located on the northernmost part of Goa. Take a dip in the water, soak up the sun and relax on the beach. You can also indulge in some water sports activities like parasailing, jet-skiing, and banana boat rides. Afternoon: Enjoy some delicious seafood and chilled beer at any of the many shacks lining the beach. Try some of the local favorites like prawn curry, fish thali, and Goan sausage. Evening: Head to the Sweet Water Lake, located just 10 minutes away. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and is a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Take a dip in the freshwater lake or go for a paddleboat ride.

  2. Day 2: Chapora Fort and Vagator Beach
    30 minutes (9.2 km) from Arambol Beach

    Morning: Start your day early and drive down to Chapora Fort, a 500-year-old fort located on top of a hill overlooking the Chapora River and the Arabian Sea. Enjoy the panoramic views of the river and the sea from the top and take a walk around the fort. Afternoon: Drive down to Vagator Beach, located just 10 minutes away from Chapora Fort. The beach is known for its stunning red cliffs, white sand, and crystal-clear water. Take a dip in the sea, sunbathe on the beach and enjoy a refreshing coconut water. Evening: Head to any of the beach shacks to enjoy a stunning sunset view while sipping a cocktail or beer. You can also enjoy some delicious seafood while enjoying the view.

  3. Day 3: Arambol Market and Reis Magos Fort
    40 minutes (14 km) from Vagator Beach

    Morning: Explore the Arambol Market, located just a few minutes away from the beach. The market is famous for its hippie vibe and has a wide variety of stalls selling clothes, accessories, and food. You can also find some unique handmade souvenirs to take back home. Afternoon: Drive down to Reis Magos Fort, located on the northern bank of the Mandovi River. The fort offers breathtaking views of the river and the surrounding landscape. Take a walk around the fort and learn about its history. Evening: Head back to Arambol Beach and enjoy a last dip in the sea before heading back to your hotel or catching your flight back home.

Recommendations

While in Arambol, don't miss out on the Saturday Night market in nearby Anjuna. The flea market is a bustling hub of live music, food, and shopping. You can also take a day trip to Dudhsagar Falls, located about an hour and a half away from Arambol. The waterfall is one of the tallest in India and is a sight to behold.
