2-Day Nature Itinerary for Mahabalipuram in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Shore Temple

    15 minutes (2 miles) from Shore Temple

    Start the day with a refreshing dip in the sea at Mahabalipuram Beach. Walk along the shore and take in the scenic views of the lighthouse and nearby temples. In the afternoon, head to the Crocodile Bank, a conservation center for endangered crocodiles and alligators. Take a guided tour to learn about the various species and watch them being fed. End the day with a visit to the Mahabalipuram Dance Festival, held annually in June, featuring classical dance performances by well-known artists.
